London is where our story begins. Our founder Min had just finished her study at Central Saint Martins, and wanted to do something that marries her love of traveling with all the art and culture of this city. It happened to be swimwear. And just like that, Aprilpoolday was born.

Our original goal was to design swimwear that was not only functional, but stylish and specifically designed to embrace Asian body proportions. But more than that, our design became a new way for people to express their individual styles with confidence.

Over the years, many new designs followed and more women found themselves owning their style everywhere. On a surfboard, free dive, skatepark, climbing walls etc. trying out things they’ve never done in places they’ve never been with friends they’ve never met.

As our community grows in new and unexpected ways, they inspire us to develop new products and experiences. We now have a wide range of swimwear, cover ups, and ready to wear that can be worn both in and out of water.
